ASOS Winter Wish List

NAILS OF THE DAY: Witchy Sparkle

As you may have noticed summer has been and gone, we're (us girls anyway) putting away our worn to death shorts and swapping them for our favourite winter coat. Those autumnal colours are rising to the surface once again. Goodbye candy corals, garish green and hello pomegranates and plums!

This also applies to nail varnish, as all summer I've been coating my talons with the peachiest colours on the market with the odd hint of neon, so on my lunch break last week I stopped off at my local Boots and had a browse. Now when it comes to Barry M I'd like to think I'm well acquainted but when it comes to Maybelline varnish I am a bit of a newbie, I had previously bought a neon pink from the Colour Show collection and wanted to try more.
I was fixated on one of their bottles of black, gothic, about as emo as you can get black varnish. Why not relive your emo days eh?
As I love a bit of glitter who was I to turn to but Barry M? I found a lovely bottle of dark multi coloured glitter and would hope to team it with my black...

Tip Tuesday: Eyeliner Dilema

I don't know about you but I have a love/hate relationship with my eyeliner, always TOO much and wonky or not enough and when correcting I bugger it up.
There are the rare days where it goes "ok' and looks 'alright', in the end it really does come down to a steady hand and practise, practise, PRACTISE!

My one tip for an almost perfect line, whichever way you wear it, is to always keep a few cotton buds handy. Forget the eye make-up remover, pop it in your mouth and sweep away any stray lines or bumps and give it smooth out.

SWIMSUIT OR BIKINI?

Anyone else fed up of these cold mornings and wet weekends?
I for one am, so to cheer my self up and get that summery feeling I browse through all the online stores and pick out my favourite swimwear. Seeing as I am scheduled to be flitting off to a country blessed by almost permanent sunshine in May I think this is a great opportunity to purchase a new swimwear outfit.
ASOS is always a good place to start and all budgets are accommodated for unless you are looking to splash out, purposely.

These are my favourites from the site, floral and brights are definitely catching my eye this year and Im looking for a piece that doesn't make me feel self conscious around others.

Do you have any sites to recommend for swimwear?

Review: Fujifilm Instax 210

Move over Polaroid, there's a new instant camera on the scene!

These days seems like all of the blogging community, artsy tourists and party hard it girls such as Hanna Beth own what seems to be the newest fashion accessory, the Fujifilm Instax Mini or the Instax 210.

I was lucky enough to receive the Instax 210 as a gift from my partner at Christmas and want to share with you my views.

Appearance
As you can see it's of a medium size and made out of plastic, this makes it small enough to fit in your handbag and light enough so you dont feel like you're lugging it around with you. It also comes with a number of accessories, a material cord attachment which enables you to carry it round your neck or shoulder and removable plastic lens that has a slight magnified effect for those closer shots.

Film
This is the film I use for my camera, I was given this brand and dont really know what other options there are. This type seems to work perfect for me.

Performance
The 210 is very easy to set up.
Firstly you insert 4 AA batteries into the side of the camera, you then unpack the film box and slot it into the back of the camera. You should hear a click when closing the sliding door at the back, you are then ready to go!
Switch the camera on and snap away!

(Please note, to get the right exposure balance for your photos you need to use the black slip of film you receive when taking your first photograph to cover your shots, unless you want over exposed prints of course)

Overall this camera is a great investment if your looking at buying an instant camera and I am very glad to have received one as a gift.
You can buy them from many websites online but I would always advise buying from the manufacturer if you are unsure about quality issues.

Visit Fujifilm.com for more in depth information on their products.

December Wishlist

It's nearly Christmas and I STILL have four things left to panic buy on friday! I really should have kept to my list I made months ago but girls do tend to go crazy in the festive season.
Oh well, if anyone wishes to buy me any of the above then please do...

Have a great Christmas everyone.
Watch out for my Christmas photo post next week!
