Silky, Smooth and Pure

This months favourite beauty and haircare products are products that I will re-purchase when I finish them, two I've used in the past and have earned their space on my favourites post.

Beauty

I have only just bought the Bioderma make up remover for sensitive skin and it's already made an impact. I remove my make up with a wipe and then go over again with a few cotton balls and the Bioderma solution, it's amazing what you miss!
No after dryness or stinging, just a fresh face. It's hard to find cheap products that do that.
I bought mine from Escentual during an offer and the smallest cost me about £3.

Hair

I'm a sucker for swapping and changing my shampoo/conditioners, I'll see a review or an advert for another one and want to try it as soon as I can, the Aussie Miracle Moist is one I've 'gone back to' and I don't know why I left to be honest!
I have wavy hair naturally that needs all the moisture it can get due to colouring and straightening occasionally, it's also quite long so it will need that extra care.
If you've never tried any Aussie products before I recommend you try at least one item, even if its the £1 hair repair mask.

Now we all know beauty bloggers like to sniff their buys to high heaven so I will tell you that the Miracle Moist smells *sniff* like bubble gum, I'm not sure if it's intentional but that's what it is.
It calms my frizz like no other.
Used in conjunction with Umberto Giannini's Silky Curls Smoothing Balm my mane goes from

With the Silky Curls balm I like to towel dry my hair (stick it up in a towel for 10 minutes) then sort out my parting, after that I squeeze three pumps into my hair, rub it all over my hands and fingers and run it through the left side of my head using my fingers as a comb. I do the exact same to the right side of my head, once all of my hair has been coated I lightly scrunch then leave my hair to air dry.

I hope you like my little list of favourite beauty products, share you favourites in the comment box I'd love to see!

Herbalife Opportunity Meeting & Brief Introduction

On Sunday I was invited along to a Herbalife Opportunity event with Cara Franco a local distributor of Herbalife. It was a chance to see the products they sell up close and personal, we even got to try some herbal teas, shakes and nutrition bars on our break.

"Herbalife International is a multi-level marketing company that sells nutrition, weight management and skin-care products."
Wikipedia.com

That's the best way to put it, it sells nutritional, weight loss/weight gain and beauty products with the most important part being that they only sell through distributors, which is why I went along.

The morning consisted of many, many success stories "How I'm making £5,000 a month and how I did it", just a general background about the company and recognition certificates given out.
One thing I noticed throughout is how much of a fan base it has with distributors and customers, throughout the morning there was so much energy from the staff who where clapping and making noise whenever anyone stood up to talk or get a certificate, it was like being in one of those crazy American churches you see on the tv.

I have been invited to become a distributor, and would LOVE to get your feedback. Are there people out there that would want to purchase Herbalife products from myself?

Give me a comment in the comment box and I shall answer any questions as soon as possible.

Every Little Swap...

As I snacked on my beetroot, celery and gem lettuce salad it got me thinking about how good it makes me feel to eat 'clean'.
For the last week I have swapped ordinary tea for green, given up bread (white and brown) and heavy things such as crumpets and soda.(Although I did sneak in a Flake...)
I no longer feel the guilt after eating of "which part of my body is THAT going to go". It has been hard not to go rummaging through the cupboards for a quick instant snack but I just keep reminding my self it will all be worth it when you stop looking like a pudgy dwarf and more like a long legged beach babe- wishful thinking indeed!

So with the help of the internet and it's nice icons I have made a small chart of swaps to try and give you and idea of how my mind is working with food.
