6 TV Shows You Should Probably Check Out In 2015 (Unless You Already Have)

Black Mirror
Prior to the 2014 Christmas special episode, the genius that is Charlie Brooker made 3 other series of this gripping and quite honestly, slightly disturbing show.
From episodes set in an underground world where daily life consists of spending hours on an exercise bike and getting your food from a vending machine to blackmailing the PM into having sexual intercourse with a pig to save a girls life, this tv show is a unique and fantastic watch.

Luther
If crooked cops, psychological crime dramas and Idris Elba are your thing then you need to get on this.
Set in London, Detective Chief Inspector John Luther is a hardworking but impulsive man who will break the rules and one way or another find the culprits to some dark crimes being committed...

Orange is the New Black
If you are homophobic or squirm at the thought of same gender relationships then this isn't for you...
Welcome to Piper Chapmans life, she's just got engaged, has a loving family and has just handed her self in for smuggling drugs across the world wither her ex girlfriend. Next stop, 15 months in a female prison! Piper sticks out like a sore thumb and it looks like she is in for a long haul until she meets a familiar face...

Marco Polo
A period drama set in the court of Kublai Khan filled, with blood guts and naked women. I'm not going to say much about this as I don't want to give spoilers, but this one has had mixed reviews, I on the other had think it was brilliant! Think GOT mixed with a bit of kung fu.

American Horror Story
Lord you have really missed out on this you poor unfortunate souls!
Each season is a new season and set somewhere completely different to the others: for example the second is set in a mental asylum in 1964 where as the third is set modern day era. Reoccurring cast and suspense make this show, particularly Jessica Lang, who is present in all 4 seasons. A mixed back of wtf is going on here, "OMG I love Evan Peters" and a cameo from Adam Levine is why you should be sticking this on your To Buy list or getting someone else to buy you it!

An Idiot Abroad
If you think your other half is a miserable old man who doesn't see the beauty of life and the world then you haven't met Karl Pilkington.
1/3 of the cast from the Ricky Gervais show Karl Pilkington, who said The Chichen Itza is just a pyramid with four sides, with stairs on each side leading to some kind of bungalow on the topgets sent around the world to visit the seven wonders, it's not all cosy 5* hotels and top nosh though. Joining Karl in his trip from hell is just hilarious, definitely one to watch when you need cheering up or need a laugh.
